I'd actually thought that it was Ron for a moment, but then it was Draco xD
I'd just read an Andromeda fic, so I keep thinking that the patient could've turned out like her, running away, or Andromeda could've turned out like Mrs. Yaxley, almost committing suicide. It's depressing, really, but all these similarities between characters in Harry Potter fanfictions is really interesting.

This is the stupidest story on ths site. There is absolutely no discussion for how Hermione and Draco just happen to end up married, save nothing for dracos heretofore invisible tolerance for lesser magical beings and anything muggle (maiden names included). What a giant ball of wank.

i came across this story quite by accident and i can honestly say that i'm glad that i did. the story that madame yaxley told was so touching, heartwarming and heartbreaking all at the same time. i would honestly like to think if she had received those letters, especially the last one, that she would have found her courage and ran away with the love of her life.

the way you contrasted her story to hermione and draco was wonderfully done. good job!

The Yaxley story was nice, but the dramione part kind of detracted from it.

I really enjoyed the story. I like how you used Mrs. Galley as a way for Hermione to think about her own marriage. I also liked how you gave Hermione a job as a healer. Overall I think you did really well with the story.

this is a very good shit. it's not often that i stumble into a good fanfiction. and if i do,it gives a rather good feeling. the way it does now. well,im a rather picky creature. so if i said this is a good fic, then it must meant something. a simple concept with mesmerizing execution. you seemed to know what you wrote. again, this is very well written. congratulations.

Wow, this was great. It was a really emotional piece, especially with Ms. Yaxley's story, but the ending was very sweet and made me smile. I don't support Draco/Hermione, but I can definitely see the appeal. They make a very cute couple! I didn't even want to read this at first (again, because of the couple thing), but I'm very glad I did!

Very well-written...for a second there I thought that maybe Diane had poisoned Mrs Yaxley, but maybe that wasn't deliberate?

Wow, you're just turning me into a weepy mess this afternoon. I loved this, I really do think you've got Hermione down perfectly- she's smart and brisk and perceptive, but not without a softer side.

But this was so sad...I love the point-of-view of someone from a pureblood family going along with the plan despite not really wanting to, not breaking away, and all the regret that came with it. I loved Mrs. Yaxley, you have this incredibly polished, regal, commanding woman and then she pours out this heart-wrenching story and really turnes out to be quite tragic, but then pulls herself together again. Very, very pureblood, that. The way you have her describe it- sort of resigned but wistful. And then when I realized that Hermione's husband was Draco! Perfect, oh I loved it, I really did, and I can't usually buy Draco/Hermione fics, but it fit in so perfectly with what she's just heard.

(Incidentally- Preston Burke? As in the incredibly sexy surgeon on Grey's Anatomy? Was that intentional?)
