Great story! I loved the whole sinister spider robot concept! Perfectly diabolical! I love howSam realizes that Rodney leaves all the amazing things he does out of his reports. It shows who Rodney really is.

Delightful story. I might have watched this 'when' you wrote it, but since I had all three parts to the ending/opener I wasn't going to pause in the middle, even to read something as lovely as one of your stories. Having seen what happened didn't subtract from your story one bit though, it was quite lovely. I haven't seen seasons 9 and 10 of Stargate (I have a great hatred of the concept of the Ori and can't bring myself to watch it; yet) but didn't find your story spoilish or not understandable because of that lack. I love the idea of Carter coming to rescue McKay and finding out how much everyone loves him.
