I remembered this one from a year or so ago. I like the idea of Sam and Jessica having sex in the Stanford library and Dean being surprised that his little brother was more adventurous than him.

I enjoyed this story and I was surpised by the turn you took with Ellen being a ghost...but then again I wasn't. I dunno if that makes sense but I loved it and you had the boys' sense of humor right on (which is hard to master!)

Really enjoyed this story...cant wait to read more!

Fabulous story; just so good with the brotherly banter, interesting plot, fabulous dialogue and those crazy chapter titles. I can't believe you don't have three times as many reviews here - my God, what are people reading? You write so fabulously well - crisp, so true to character. Dean and Sam are real here. Sam's thoughts of Jess and his longing, the way he reacts to being in the library; Dean's usual bitching and crass humor, but still his underlying concern for his brother.

And the humor - I thought I'd die laughing when Dean was making fun of Sam and his "ectoplasmic sex". The scene in the basement with Ellen and Sam was, uh, well c'mon - the chapter title was "Premature Speculation" ;) I also wanted to tell you how I loved the epilogue - it was extremely creative and a bit mystical in tone. Loved every bit of this story - thanks for sharing it with us.

PS: BTW - you don't have "complete" on the story listing. Perhaps readers thought it was unfinished. That's the only reason I can figure out for the lack of reviews.

I finally had time to read this story. It's absolutely wonderful! I loved the way you did the plot, and the characterizations, and the descriptions. My favorite line was "dusty cardboard chaperones". Thank you for writing this and putting it up!

You say Roseanne, I think Barr, and then the mental image is not so pretty. Good chapter. Poor Sam, but I had to love the 2006 Chevy Impala.

You have no idea how much the mental image of Sam's expression when Dean explains he crappily doinked a ghost made me laugh. Wonderful chapter. It crossed my mind that she could be dead, I just didn't expect it to be true.
