i thought this story will be just like another story of poor edward. but i have to confess this is a better story. seems simple but complicated with another mystery inside. i cant stop read the next chapter. and hoping that when will they start realize their feeling. and boom... first is roy. kyaa... i keep screaming and hoping. please update soon.

Goodness, I know that this hasn't been updated in years, but this is my 4th time, I think, reading these 6 chapters and I just wanted to let you know that your work, this story, the character development, how real they seem... it's all very special and I sincerely hope that one day you end up finishing this. I look forward to seeing how things develop story-wise and Roy/Ed-wise. And, I'm in love with Anya - she's so freakin' adorable - and wanna she how she and Roy end up shifting to a more father-daughter relationship (or, at least, that's what I'm assuming is gonna happen). _

I really wonder if you will update this story again. I enjoyed reading it very much. I like the concept and I like your writing. I especially like you writing a returned Edward. (hope)

This is an incredible peace of work. Too bad, you updated more than five years ago.
I got completely absorbed when reading 'Some things are free'. The characters were nearly alive in my head, I could see Ed moving through the shabby restaurant and knocking on Roy's chest like a vivid animation! You've done a good job!

Maybe, just maybe, you will update this one day? ;)

God this is so good it is written very well your plot is amazing and i love how you gave new traits to the characters but still managed to not go ooc. I also like that your taking your time getting them to fall in love. I hope you don't just abandon this fic because it is reall good and i want to know how it ends.

I've had a particular fondness for fics that have Ed returning from the other side of the gate (based off the first anime) for a while now, and this one definitely caught my eye.

Sometimes in a fic where the main character has a child, the rest of the story is taken up with too much of an emphasis on the oh-no-the-main-character-has-a-kid-and-now-needs-to-spend-all-his-time-taking-care-of-the-little-tyke panic (if that makes any sense at all). This fic doesn't drown the reader in the new character, or the woes of parenthood. Rather, the parenthood is just one of many aspects.

Roy's growing attachment to Ed is one of my favorite things to read :D so kudos again. I love it!

I love this fanfic. It's so sweet and it has practically everything in it. Family, drama, romance, angst, humor, fluff, stuff that makes you smile without knowing until your cheeks hurt from it and most of all, RoyEd. I also love how you didn't immediately jump into the pairing and paced the story.

I'm really looking forward to the next chapter. Please update.
