Wow, this is marvelous! Get out of here and go write a book! You have a way with painting with words, they all blend together perfectly and the story line was touching. You deserve a cookie.

Wow... Light was... so well in character here... L too. I like it! The more I think about it, the more it seems that L's feelings for Light (friendship or otherwise) realy WAS his downfall. You captured that well! Bravo!

It took me a moment to understand that brief flash in L's eyes, which is rather stupid considering I was looking for it. How terribly sad - and almost evil of Light to be that callous (however perfectly it suits his character).

Your vocabulary is obviously bigger than most, and you describe things very nicely as well as having in character characters :P I appreciated this story very much, and I can't help but pity L (poor guy...) I have always loved the thinking of L slipping because he actually became friends with the murderer, and I was glad to see you applied it here _ Thank you for writing this!

Very maturely written. Ever thought of going pro? Maybe you already are. It was fantastic, darling. I loved use of the extensive vocabulary.
