I think Christine's a bit pessimistic

I love your headstrong, intuitive Christine, she is such an engaging character. I was pleased to see that Raoul eventually accepts Christine's choice. It seemed like the Daroga had quite a hand in letting him believe he had more of a chance with her from the beginning though.

I enjoyed seeing Erik given a chance at a loving marriage, this was truly a sweet read, a very satisfying version of events. Christine using the book as a way to get Erik to listen to her was a lovely thing. It sounds like an interesting book, I love old fairy tales and may try to hunt this book down.

I really enjoyed your extra edition at the very end of this fic where Christine is giving her private show to the elites. This was an interesting look at how performers could very well have been treated in this era. Poor Christine dressed to the nines and so excited, only to be sat in the kitchen with the horridly rude help-staff for hours, just waiting to be called out to sing. I'd never thought of it like this before but it would make sense that she could be shuffled about through the servants quarters considering she is just an up and coming star.

i hate it when a story end sure you can read it more often but every time it is the end you again get melancholy and sad .
your story was or is truly beautiful and i love your not so naive and dumb christine and of yourse how she treated raoul, I don't like him very much and would have pushed him in the movie over the rooftop to be honest but you dialed with him in a good way it was sad that they couldn't have children but alright they were happy your story really moved me and I'm happy that i read it.
