I love the intricate detail you showed in the beginning and how you concluded it at the end, but the middle was just a little out of place from the sentimental theme through the story. This story definitely deserves more reviews if the conversation wasn't so awkward.

I liked the theme you used throughout this. You carried it through until the end, and it was very clever how you wrapped up with it as well. This is an interesting one shot. Your mechanics are a little askew, but other than that, it's a nice read. I like the idea presented. Good job.
