I read this about four years ago, and I can't believe I neglected to review! This made me smile just as much the second time as I did the first. Perfect. I simply love your writing.

That was so sweet! And I completely believed it. You did a good job of adapting their characters yet still making them feel natural and true. I love this spin-off!

I really liked this little piece! Although, when I first read the summary, I thought you'd pair up Lee with Sam *g* glad that you didn't.

I also enjoyed the scene where Lee came in her appartment and watched her painting ;) But you had me shocked for a second as she called him Sam, I just thought, oh please not again :D but I liked the way you played that a lot!

and I loved the sculpture!

That did my soul good. A nice uncomplicated Lee/Kara story. And I can certainly live with Sam being her best friend. If only he'd remember his place! :)

*Sigh* Delightful. Very sweet. Great way for them to otherwise meet - and that their chemistry is undeniable under any circumstances. I will say I almost screamed when Lee entered the apartment and Kara called out to "Sam." But you were very kind and solved that near heart-attack by havign Lee grin and expo-think that Sam is her best friend. Whew! With all that angst hitting the fan in BSF, this was such a wonderful little respite. Darn-near perfect. My only qualm was not having the opportunity for them to have the same chemistry in the sky. Of course, since this is BSF-based, she still would have the aptitude and natural ability for viper-flight. So ... I can imagine now that Lee is a teacher that at some point he gives his then-wife a few lessons and they are soon 'fraking in the sky' as Apollo and Starbuck are supposed to!

Wow, probably above anything else I love AU K/L fics. ANd this one takes the cake. I am so adding this to my Fave Stories list. I even think I'll print it off so I can read it whenever I need to.
