This was...haunting. Beautiful.

I love how you wove the "Up, down...up, down..." into the text, and how the entire story builds up. Even though, over all, it's a melancholy and heart-rending oneshot, there's still a gentle buildup, a climax, and closure.

The ending was perfect.

Words leave me on how to describe this story. The details and the expressions, it was just, well, WOW! The detail you gave was wonderful, I could really picture every thing that happened in my mind. And the way you did the characters emotions and there thoughts and everythng was astounding, it made my heart twist with sadness for them. This is a really good story.

Constructive crit: (at least, I HOPE it's constructive) I found some of the imagery overdone. That may be just me, but you might want to go over the way you painted things again. It got better as the fic progressed. :)

Wow! That's like all I have to say is WOW! Okat the rain outside my window added to this sad sad story and the fact that like halfway through it my eyes started to cloud over made it much harder not to cry. Please tell me that you are going to become a writer in later years because this is like the BEST fic I've read in a long time. Hearing this from some 14 yr. old girl must not seem like a big deal but I'm pretty sure alot of other people think so to. Your very skilled and I loved it!

Hey! Thought I might check out your first Spiral fanfiction. Like I said with the original, it sorta reminds me of my own (VERY JUNK!) Spiral fic, with the whole "everybody dying" thing and all.
