i know this fic is super old, and i don't even know if you're still on this site or not, but i really enjoyed this. i've quietly shipped these two for a long time, and i don't even usually like modern AUs, least of all school AUs, but this was really nice. you captured both their personalities so well, and the rest of the ensemble cast was a delight. i loved the mirroring of the first chapter in the last chapter, it was a really nice technique to close the story. this is a good fic, even so many years later, and even if you haven't updated anything here for a while, i hope you're still writing. 3

Yes, for friendship, and Halloween candy...well just candy in general:) this chapter was really fun to read, I love how riku is beginning to open up. You emphasized before how your forte was character development and that is clearly evident from what I've read...you are awesome. Might I also praise you for the small details you use to describe and deliver a powerful image. For example, that family reunion with demyx and his family...the juxtaposition of that scenario with riku's awestruck reaction to the family interaction really gave us an insight onriku's personality...you got that across without even mentioning anything and that is just plain awesome . Well, I'll read the next chapter tomorrow...can't wait!

Hello, how do you do? New reader here, first impression on the story? Well, it looks very promising. I came across your page after reading your short fic/drabble TO THE START, I loved your simplistic style. Quite refreshing from all the heavy concentration of imagery and symbolism some writers seem to bombard me with. This story in particular caught my attention because of the summary. I was tired of the cute and happy lovey dovey stuff and wanted something more realistic, but not too angsty...I seem to have come across the perfect mixture. This is my first axel and riku fiction, I really wouldn't be here if it weren't for your writing style, and I'm glad I gave this a chance. The roommate interaction felt so real. I mean I can relate with this chapter, because not too long ago I had my first roommate and college experience as a freshman. I loved that their meeting wasn't like love at first sight, i will be yours forever and ever, he is so hot...i mean who would believe that piece of bacon...the little sprinkles of soft humor also made the first chappy interesting. Lol, Axel aka FIREGOD, come on that was pure gold :) i really cannot wait to keep on reading, well on to the next!

I have to say, I saw Riku/Axel and I was skeptical. I'm a pretty die hard Akuroku fan, but this sounded too interesting to pass up. And now I think you've infected me with its potential to be wonderful and amazing and I can't say I'm complaining.

This was such a good story! Stories like this make me wish that I could personally be a writer's editor just so I could be personal with their work and help them out into the world.
