I love all your stories so much. I've read your oneshot collections several times. I would love it if you expanded this one (56). I can't find any stories like this, and I think it would be awesome! Love your writing!

not that i don't like what you have here, but at the end of this drabble i kind of imagine kid saying something like " this would be why i steal gems, to find the dangerous hidden gem and destroy it before it harms anyone else" or " i steal to protect, especially in this case. every legend has a grain of truth, and as you see here, this one is not to be messed with, hence finding it so i could destroy it before it claims more victims." to the police officers there. something like that anyways. i love reading your stories, they flow very well and are well written. they also spark ideas, so thank you! :]

I'm so sorry I'm commenting so long after this was finished, but I just wanted to say thanks for writing this. Your little fics have really brightened my days. I thank you so much for your universes. I have had a great deal of fun with your Avalon universe in particular. In yours, Shinichi and Kaito look alike but are not related, and he still follows death but is human. In my fun imagination story, he was actually stolen from the womb as a spark, experimented on by a vengeful/crazy cat youkai (to go after other ravens), and then implanted/restolen by his reluctant female assistant into Kudo Yukiko. So Shinichi and Kaito would have been/are twins but Shinichi has two sets of parents (genetically) and is sealed away. I made him a Storm Raven, a rare being that is always born as a part of raven youkai twins but is almost full youkai no matter the bloodline (due to his purpose) and has silver-touched feathers. He's sealed away until said crazy cat youkai finds him again. Storm Ravens can only verbally speak to their twin safely and have a singing voice that only the dead (who they help avenge/lead to the afterlife) can appreciate. heh.
I even involved the clan that Takagi is a part of with Kenshin (and who I made a rogue clan from Avalon because frankly Oberon and his court are horrible), as Shinichi's trainers/adopted clan both before and after he discovers what he is (alluding to another of your stories). Shinichi can be in adult form only in a winged humanoid state that's a bit shaggier looking than Kaito.
