an anime/manga recommendation:
if you've never seen/read/heard of 'rurouni kenshin' i would like to recommend it. they've made a trilogy of new live action movies that have been released internationally that are really great (a live action adaptations of an anime series done right) the dvds are out already... they've released a new OVA series and a brand new/different manga story that the movie is partially based on and recently they've started a back story for the main bad guy... hopefully they'll film the next two arcs of the original manga shortly since the trilogy did so great at the box office.

there are a few parallels in 'inuyasha' and 'rurouni kenshin'. in the author's note for 'Rain' written by Fenikkusuken (an inuyasha author) she said, "I've found another conflicted swordsman with an inner demon, exotically coloured long hair and a dead 'ex' issue. At least Kenshin's 'ex' stays dead, and Kaoru ends up more than just kissed!

I don't know if you noticed, but I feel that when you wrote "repulsed," you meant "repelled."

Repulsive is to have gross, disgusting characteristics and such while repelling is the opposite of attracting. For exmaple, in magnets. N and S would stick together while S and S would repel each other. Does that make sense? Check a dictionary and ignore my very lame explanation.

But, anyway, really great fanfic! I liked it very much. :]

hehehe great ending. If only Inuyasha could show up and take advantage right now...Oh how amusing could that be I wonder? But are certain things best left unsaid and undone? I don't know if Inuyasha could get over the shock of his brother being nice. Honestly, I don't know if anyone other than Rin ever could. So maybe it's a good thing that Inuyasha's busy with Kagome right now...Yes that sounds about right. I really enjoyed how you made Shippo seem like Kagome and Inuyasha's child, and that human Inuyasha remained so permanently. I bet it was a bit awkward when he first came back and all those memories about Kagome came through...a bit confusing as well. Poor Inuyasha.

Ok I'll stop commenting on plot and subject matter and actually do some real reviewing. Sorry about that, I just really enjoyed the plot and ideas you stuck in this story, they were very original and at times very humorous. The only thing I could criticize is the grammar, but the rest was great. Nice job.

I get such perverse pleasure out of demon vs. human Inuyasha interaction- perverse because it should never happen in the first place and I feel guilty that I could want him split up like that- but pleasure all the same because it is just so very, very entertaining. I love that it took the human side of Inuyasha to save the both of them, it was so great...This fight scene has an inordinate amount of dialog, and I love it for that. Nice job with it.

Good cliffhanger and plot twists. However, I can't deny that this chapter needs some serious grammar, diction, and rhetorical editing. The word 'whom' is over- and misused, while grammar is being mildly abused throughout. Hate to say it, because I don't think you're a bad writer, but it's the truth. I did think you took care of demon Inuyasha's reasons for leaving Kagome fairly well though, and Kagome's reactions. And I am very much desperate to know what happens next!

Hm interesting dream...Very interesting...I'm a bit worried, and yet hopeful too. I think there is a way, but the dream shows the consequences if she doesn't find it. Although the story doesn't seem to be leading to this solution, I still feel that the demon Inuyasha needs to lie to get rid of the spell altogether. he needs to lie and so let himself join with human Inuyasha once again. Sango and Miroku gave some nice comedy too though. I can't believe she let him get her drunk all over again...But I can't deny that it was amusing.

Very nice explanations. You handled the two sides of Inuyasha and their individual epiphanies very well, and the description of the stop light was quite creative. I enjoyed it very much. Poor old woman though, she must be so confused...hehehe although if she's half as wise as she seems to think she is, she'll understand the important bits. Nice job.

Uh-oh...Good cliffie, I haven't got a clue what's going to happen next, and goodness I can't wait to find out! Inuyasha can be so utterly ridiculous sometimes...I'm worried now, because this plan actually has a chance of working- the thing with Kikyou I mean. I admire your skill with the description of demon Inuyasha submitting Sango and Miroku to him, it just would have been nice if you'd looked over it a bit to catch the obvious typos...Forgive me my comments, I'm just a grammar freak...It was well-written, just not well proof read. Oh well, I'm still enjoying it anyway.

Hmm I do appreciate cliffhangers in all shapes, forms and sizes. So thank you for that. And Inuyasha walking in Kagome's class was just so great, he was so ridiculous; I woke up my cat, I laughed so loud. (Normally yells in her ear don't even work.) I'll be reading more as soon as I can.

Trust Miroku to still be able to lie...Unfortunately I'm guessing it's just the fact that he's done it so much he can't tell the difference anymore. Kind of pitiful really..I'm sorry, but the grammar could use a bit of editing though. ..Good dialog anyway, and good contrast between human and demon Inuyasha. I'll keep reading.

It's interesting mixing science and magic...I suppose there's nothing saying it can't be possible in the series, so why not? It would make sense I suppose. I love the little bit about human Inuyasha being a girl though- pretty much the last thing any of them should be worrying about; there's really no danger of him being girly, he's so outwardly and openly and stupidly male in every way, including on his human nights. Nah, I'm just worried Naraku, or worse yet(with the embarrassment/ reputation score anyway), Kouga. Now THAT would be funny.

Wow...That was unexpected...An intriguing window into Inuyasha's psychology though. Hehe trust Kagome to turn to Ramen as the ultimate peace-maker. I guess some things never change...and why do I get the impression that this is somehow Shippo's fault? Sooner or later that little kitsune is going to get caught, if not by Inuyasha, then by Kagome- I'm sure she won't enjoy watching the two aspects of his personality fighting over her...Run Shippo, run! I'm very excited to see what happens next!
