I Hope that none of the boys who fought were under 10. If Theoden made boys fight I would rather it be older ones and not little ones.

i've only reviewed twice on this site before...so i hope you get this even if you're not checking for reviews anymore... thank you for explaining legolas! ha, i'm having a hard time describing how grateful i am that someone finally addressed the topic and tried to resolve the differences between movie and book legolas! at least, first time i've seen it. this is better than any explanation i could have come up with :)

legolas might be young amongst his own people IMMORTALS, but that doesn't mean he's a child when compared to humans. he has seen centuries after all, that much experience does make one wiser and older than an old mortal of less than a hundred years. ~shrugs~ men don't have time to reach the level of 'adult' that an elf does, that's all.

you portrayed a light-hearted legolas well at the end though.

What can I say except its another little gem! This is a perfect explanation of why the character of Legolas was chosen over one of the other elves; as well as why the elf was so serious in the movie. Bravo!
