I loved the story, but I'd just like to point out that "Suki Desu" is more commonly used than 'Aishiteru.'

Still not very common though, saying that.

I'm not gonna go into a big lecture, but basically Aishiteru is REALLY meaningful, and it's a bit weird when used 'casually' (for lack of a better word).

So yeah, for future referance, even though Suki Desu is translated as just "i like you" it means a heck of a lot. And it sounds cuter.
