Beautiful. A rareity on that theres a West Wing story not just about Josh and Donna, or Sam and Ainsley. I think your control of pace is excellent, each scene seems not too rushed, but not as if walking at a snails speed. You portray a saddening and unjust end to Leo's life, and I can feel your affection for the character in your writing.

My one gripe would be that you used the scene from the episode (name escapes me) where Toby finds the dead veteran. Whether this was an intentional contrast or not i do not know, however I don't think that this minor fault detracts from the story.

oh...you're going to make me cry! So beautiful, so sad. I want to say they'd never let that happen to Leo, but that's what makes this so sad, because obviously everything's gone to hell in a hula hoop. (Republicans in the WH?) Did Cliff really give the coat to Goodwill, or did he actually give it to Leo?
