Such a beautiful, beautiful story. I often wonder just what Leia's relationship with her father would be like, and I come up with an idea of some sort of "grumpy" friendship - not full of hugs and kisses, but no less true for that. I loved this picture you've just painted, all of it: the brother and sister, the quiet forest, the lovely description of the weather...and the presence of another, so powerfully felt. This story really speaks to me, and I thank you for this chance to experience something this moving and beautiful.

Envy is a path to the dark side right? I best be careful then because I'm feeling rather envious of your talent that you make look so easy. :) Srlsy, another job well done. Normally I'd run from this kind of fic, too much sadness, but you've sucked me in and I can't escape. And I'm totally okay with that.

This story has left me almost completely breathless... there is such quiet, serene beauty and hope to be found among the words and all I can say now is that it's left me feeling both full of sorrow and joy, both at the same time.

Leia's characterization is excellently done and it is a more realistic take that she should try to comprehend what kind of man her father truly was. I'm a fan of the father-daughter relationship between Anakin and Leia as well and this story illustrates the haunting beauty and melancholy of this relationship wonderfully
