Wow. This story and your fantastic writing blew me away. I realize it has been over 3 years since "Never An Absolution" was published, but I wanted to thank you- it is obvious that you put a great deal of time and effort into it and it was a pleasure to read!This was the first Lost fic I've ever read (I recently got into Lost). I looked through some fics by other authors, but a lot of the time the writing was just painful. Thank you for your terrific writing ability- I think you have a gift. This fic got me into reading Lost fanfic. The only other fics I read are generally BTVS Fuffy pairings- very different subject matter, lol. But I'm a big Kate/ Sawyer fan, and I look forward to reading more from you, so onto the sequel!

p.s. I think the title for this piece is not only a great title, but also fits well with the story's theme.

Libby's the mole? But I liked Libby. An attractive blond who likes fat ugly losers! The world needs more of those! I was sorry to see her killed along with Anna Lucia. Anyway good story. I'm glad that James and Kate figured out that them being together is more important than any mistrust they might have.

This story's pretty exciting. Now that Sawyer's made it back to the camp with his prisoner he can't relax until Kate and Eko are safe.

Kate should realize that she has no future with Jack. She's an outlaw and will spend the rest of her life running which is no life for a surgeon. She and Sawyer are both nomads without any prospects of settling down so they're perfect for each other. I don't know why she fled after making love to him but I'll read the rest of the story and find out.

All I could say about the story of Kate and the dog cage, Argh! That was pretty sick to do something like that to a young girl. My first impression of Sawyer on the show was that he was just a slimy jerk until the episode where Sayid tortured him. The way he stood up to it showed that there was a lot more to this guy than I thought. He's got a lot of courage which is the trait I admire the most in a person.

I got the first three chapters done. Kate and Sawyer wouldn't have such strong emotions whether good or bad if there wasn't some love under it. I always felt they made a good couple because they both have a dark side and a past they're trying to flee.

he was in his dreams, his every other waking thought, and when he got her out of his head, she was there in person, drawing him to her like a moth to a flame. And just like that moth the closer he got the more it hurt and burned.

i know i must have said this a million times but aww, that was so cute. that one part where they were separated by the tarp and so sad about each other...aw!

very good, although since this is the last chapter, until the sequal (which you ARE going to do!) i unfortunately have to point out the bad as well as the good! im gonna make it easier and say if fast and with the least number of words possible. first, i dont really like how alot of the focus was on the other stuff he was doing and the other people he talked to, it kind of made the skate scenes a little less...whats the word...effective! but like i said a while ago, i also resented ana and how close she was with him, it took away from kate... i think a little less angry james and little more intimate sexy james is in order too! oh and for the future (SEQUEL) you should have it that travis has news that kate isnt wanted anymnore or something. all i know is that alot, ALOT, of stories go with: jail, running, or in jail and bailed/escaped...frankly those are all a little old to me...you seem like you arent afraid to be new, i know for a fact that i havent read a story where james is a good guy that goes and rescues kids and whatnot all the while being the sexy badass that he is! props for that pal! lol so write the sequel and make them happy together, ya know, forgiven and all that, those are my favourite stories: the ones where sure, they had a little rough patch but from here its smooth sailing! kate loves james, james loves kate, have them in love already lol! but i honestly cant say i know why you want my reviews, frankly they arent that great and im almost tempted to tell you to ignore me lol. holy long review, but keep in mind this is for the whole thing not just chapter 21. good job, you are officially added to my fav authors and write me a sequel! its been fun reading your stuff,

oh...no...that was so mean! how could you hurt me like that? a scene like that would never happen in my story, way to evil and most definately too anti-skate which you should know by now is what i hate the most in life! but wow that was crazy, good writing!

aw, falling asleep in his lap...lol i always wondered how some authors could have that in their story without mentioning the undeniable thought of sexual deeds flowing through sawyers brain! good job, very cute and simple, i like it. i dont really like how analucia and him are so close though, thats kind of ruining the connection between kate and sawyer, especially when he broke down to her and not kate, but thats just my opinion...great chapter!
