... No, I don't particularly like this type of scenario, either. However, it is a good exercise in revealing the personalities of Yami and Yugi and fleshes out their characters in an aspect that regular gore couldn't reach. So, it's a necessary evil, and you wrote it well.

Wonderful use of characterisation, and I love the almost melodic feel you've managed to create. It just gives the story that little underlying sense of deeper emotion.

That was good. Quite melancholic and it did have a kind of 'musical' touch to it through your descriptions with the rain. Plus the dreams and flasbacks and all this 'three months ago' or '2 months' etc made the story more intense.

Liked Yami's confrontation with Taro and gang, and what Hiso said about seeing 'Yugi' again.
