I did like this story, mostly because it was actually somewhat different than the average stuff you get in The Pit. I know what you mean about long things needing focus. I hope you won't be deleting it though. It's good sometimes to look back on your own work and realize where you went wrong, because inevitably, there'll be some "right" in there as well. :)

Can you PLEASE, please please please return to this story? It's much too good for you to give up on, considering the actually quaint MaiNat couple.

OMG, this is such an interesting mix of HiME and Otome! You had me floundering to keep up for a little while, but now I'm all set to enjoy the MaiNat goodness! o- I positively LOVED the scene towards the middle of this chapter when Mai was trying to convinced Natsuki that the waitress liked her, and how Natsuki refused to believe her! *Squeals* Natsuki really doesn't know how good she looks, and I was thrilled to see that concept pop up in this lovely fic!

I really hope that you'll file this story with the main characters search database under Mai and Natsuki! My Stories tab! Just a plea from a total fan of this fic, so that others may partake in the awsomeness! Brilliant stuff, sincerely! o-

Don't tell me you've used that silly part about Shiho being a vessel to some Makimaki weird aliens in your story? *snickers* Man, way to use some silly idea to create a tragic operation!

Poor Shiho, though. I like her, despite her madness. I hope Haruka and Yukino are in good health.

And "the president isn't president when she's a spy"? Yukino is the only president I can think of in either show, unless you also count Shizuru since she's "president" of the Student Council, so who would that be?

Personnality mingling... I'll give my own theory. In the show, Haruka wasn't a Hime, but she was in the manga. And this all seems to happen in a yet even different time/space/dimension frame (I mean, the age difference between Mai and Mikoto, for starters, when they had about two or three years difference in both show and manga). Your verse seems different at first, yet with tidbits of all three realities. And apparently they're all mingling together. This could prove bad on numerous things. For instance, it will probably have some of them need to readjust their mental processes. Shizuru for instance, her Hime character and her Otome character are both the same and... opposite in some ways, so mind would best the other? Judging from how she acted in both shows, I don't think she will take that kindly to Natsuki not being with her anymore, and I'm afraid she will go all Hime again. This could also prove troubling because of Haruka. The two of them shared a reluctant friendship in Otome, but they were indeed enemies in Hime. Hell, Shizuru destroyed Yukino's child, thus killing Haruka, at least in the anime, if Haruka is as... crazed as she is in Otome, that will mean battle soon.

So, who got the mingling so far? There's Mai, Natsuki, Mikoto, Midori and Mashiro as well apparently (Midori's case would be proof to my theory, too, since while she seems to be a lot more fun-loving than the one from Otome, she also seems to me like she's a lot more... rough than her Hime counterpart. Kinda like she was in Otome. And her personnality from Otome seems to be the one to prevail as well. The same with Mashiro. She seems to play puppeteer like she did in Hime, but have tha kinda cabrasive attitude she had in Otome, albeit less childish.

As for Miyu... I have yet to know how the mingling affected her, but in this chapter she gave me the impression that she was... colder than she was in Otome, especially towards Arika. That... worries me. Like a lot!

Liked the part. Well, liked the three chapters so far. Gonna read some more tomorrow. I love the pairings. Sorry for Shizuru though, but she had it coming (I know, not the same one as in the anime, she's more like her Otome avatar in this one, but...) So Haryka and Yukino finally got it covered, huh? I mean, I remember Haruka rumbling about how it was 'disgusting and shameful" when she discovered about Shizuru's feelings for Natsuki... guess Suzuhara/Armitage grew up some, huh? And Mai/Natsuki/Mikoto... that's a dream come true. Arika/Nina... well, they're good, but not complete... and they can't be complete anymore since Erstin is dead (snif) I LOVED Erstin! *Big fat tears* So, will we get to see Midori, Akane or some others? (Whether Hime or Otome...)

Finally! I really enjoyed this chapter. Mai/Natsuki for the win! I hope you update soon.
