Reading this feels like an antidote whenever I have a ShikaxIno withdrawal. It’s one of the stories that I immediately remember when it comes to Shikamaru and Ino and it never gets old when rereading them from time to time.

I love that you showcasted Ino’s hesitation when wanting him close but at the same time not wanting to be selfish for the sake of their village. And Shikamaru’s quote of wanting her to be selfish just gets to me everytime because if they were together and he’s someone that important, it must have been lonely not having her by his side at all times. The pressure must have gotten to him and since it took them that long, it just shows how selfless they are. I like that you introduced to us this telekinesis type jutsu by Ino which tells us that although this was done unconsciously and could be a problem but it shows a range of possibilities for Ino’s family jutsu that could’ve been expanded.

This was so lovely and so thought-out! One of the shikaino I've read on this site for sure

I did, have a wonderful time reading that is. This was adorably cute and I don't find this so far out of the realms of possibility. Ino's family are mind walkers and the mind can be a scary thing, the amount of control and... it just seems like there are many possibilities to be had within Ino's family to explore with their techniques. Her subconscious coming to life, like telekinesis, seems very real. Especially when tied to her emotions.

And I love this pairing. These two have such a bond and deep understanding that I just adore them. I adore them as friends and growing into more. I find it not improbable at this point.

You write very well, pretty brilliantly actually. I had no trouble immersing myself in this story and just getting lost in the feeling and emotions. And I think you explored parts of these characters we rarely see.

For instance, when it comes to emotions, Ino sure finds people cute and she has deeper feelings than many people seem to realize. For instance, Sakura and Ino, when the friendship was broken up, it seemed to have a deeper impact of betrayal for Ino and she threw herself into the rivalry. I think Ino, when it comes to real emotions and the possibility of being hurt, is like your Ino when it comes to real love. I feel she might be more afraid of love than just crushes and enjoying the eye candy.

Shika, I always felt he held more than friendly feelings for Ino. Feelings that we see, showing him being protective of Ino, understanding Ino on a deeper level that actually showcases Ino in another light. This was displayed more notably during the chuunin exams and, though I like ShikaTem, I love InoShika more and I just eat up every moment with the two. Especially those moments.

This was deep and I just loved it. Thank you for this and I don't know if you're still around and writing, but I just wanna say keep on rocking!

You touched on so many aspects of relationships and shinobi life in subtle but brilliant ways. I loved how Ino deciphered "Nara language" and how well he knew her to be able to read an unconscious jutsu. Way to keep them both in character while writing an inherently cute story. :)

A wonderful time I had! This was so interesting and in-character, I could picture their every expression, and it really reminded me of why I love ShikaIno so much. Marvelous job!
