oh my. this was - amazing. Just - wow - I'm trying to find the right words. You've caught him so well. I don't know if I've read anything that caught Cloud so perfectly as you did in this fic. The past, the numbness, the explosion of repressed feelings - the way he's still having to adjust to being what he's become. The way he looks for the little kid at the back of the group. Just - wow. This was absolutely wow.

This was really in character. I really enjoy fics with young Cloud as the centre, it isn't too dwelt on and when it is, it usually isn't done very well.

But yours was great! And the song fit too, I don't normally read songfics but it worked well here.

It _would_ be Cloud to actually feel doubt about attaining peace after so many years of accepting turmoil. ;;

I found the tone of the story quiet, reminiscent, and extremely in character. So much so the heart aches to remember what he went through and how he came through it. And some confidence he'll eventually heal in the future.

This is a well written introspective of cloud's past, and I think you captured his feelings very well.

That was soo good! All Cloud seems to do is brood over one thing or another; and anyway, this seems like it would fit into his mind perfectly. Yay for perfect grammar!

Very delightful. You have pure skill, and I don't say that a lot. Even though I have a bit of a qualm with it being a whole summary of Cloud's life, you pulled it off for the most part. Thanks for delivering our eyes to see from Chocobo's perspective. It was a fantastic read.
