I’ve done research on nonverbal ppl and mute ppl and the different afflictions that can cause both of those, and i was hoping it would b treated with the respect it deserves in this, instead of harry being called “retarded” which is truly a disgusting word. i had been thinking that this had the possibility of being a really interesting story abt healing emotionally n stuff — since his muteness is chased by trauma not born like that, it would b curable — which would b rlly beautiful, but instead it isn’t, and is just somewhat ableist, how lovely. |

| SchwarzShifter chapter 19 . 11/19/2018 Wow, this was fantastic! I loved the relationship between Voldemort and Harry, and I loved their characterisations. I was furious at Dumbledore, when he turned Harry in at the ministry I wanted to rip his stupid beard out, but I appreciate the way you wrote him being somewhat capable of change, and a rational opponent rather than a cackling evil. I was a little thrown by canon apparently being the darkest timeline, (Snape being a ladies’ man? Tom marrying Myrtle?! /shudders/) but the story was so great and immersive that I got over it. I also really like the werewolf alpha part, and the part where Harry and (umm... baby Black) become friends in the end. But my absolute favourite was Harry’s delayed attempts at not being evil. It would always take him a minute of being stared at to go “oh yeah... and it’s wrong.” And “we are already a dark lord, boy! We’re just being lazy about it this time.” That was my favourite of all time! Can’t wait til Harry and Voldie take over the world together ;) |
