It's sure a good thing that none of the muggles in the HP series invest in a such thing as a home security system. Regardless of how advanced the security system is or the wizards would have a lot more obstacles to overcome.

Even simple security techniques such as spot lights or fake *security alarm* signs act as a deterrent. Cutting back dense bushes around windows/points of entry where it's easy for someone to hide inl.

Holy crap. I LOVED this story. I live the way Severus' character was shaped. Most stories like this are 40 chapters. The simplicity of it and how adorable it was made it such a wonderful story. You should totally write more like it.
