such a deep story!

It's beautiful! I didn't know you wrote Odyssey fic. I'm really glad I found this, it's very well done.

I like this! I'm doing classics at college and I LOVE the Odyssey! I always wondered about those two. They're so different. You're spin on their relationship is good. My mind occasionally squeeked about bits that weren't exactly in keeping with the heroic world of Homer but in fan fiction for a modern audience it hardly matters. After all, aren't all the classics just retellings of well known tales from the time. One thing I disagree with you on though is Telemachus' wife. I reckon Odysseus paired him and Nausicca off. She's the perfect woman but is too young for Odysseus, so why not have her a future queen of Ithaca with our wonderful Telemachus. As you can tell I don't get a lot of work done in class with all my ponderings over pairings and relationships, but ho hum. Love this story. I may go find some others on Odyssey now and I'll certainly be giving some of your Wheel of Time stuff a look.

OMG! That was wonderful... even though I like it better when Penelope and Helen are friends, this was SO wonderfully written...

oh i loved this...Penelope usually isnt portrayed as having a good relationship with Helen so this was a nice change compared to plain old jealous Penelope. The reader goes through the journey Penelope does...it was great. well done! :)

It's awesome how you got their views on each other. And I love the fact that you made her seem like she was telling the story when she got older right at the end! - Your story rules!
