Aww, yay! Not the sugary, fairy tail happy ending, but not the Shakespeare-like tragic one, either... I love this! A heap of sadness and angst, but also a bit of a truckload of sweetness, romance and warmth, too. Awesome job, such a fantastic story! AU or not, this is brilliant!

This was a great ending to an amazingly angst-filled story.
I loved the goodbye scene between Hugh and Jimmy (very sweet and nicely done), and the irony of Flippy being a dummy... so his plan failed.

Also loved how the ending wasn't a full conclusion, and just concluded the story.

Before I stop this review, this part was one of my favorite quotes in this chapter: "What kind of fool took only the bare minimum for his plan and nothing else?" "In spite of his anger, Jimmy smiled. A heap of scrap wood."

DANG that was a huge cliffhanger. Like... holy crap.

Anyways, I think it's really cool that Hugh can still semi-control Flippy's thoughts. That adds to the story DEFINITELY.

On a side note, I hope Cindy doesn't die... or anyone else.

(Oh, and SO not the time for it, but when Flippy said "You'll rue this day!" I thought of iCarly when Nevel said that... XD)

Okay Flippy is SERIOUSLY evil in this... Trying to trick Jimmy into killing his father for real.

"I rescued you from your inner demons, Sleeping Beauty, and you still think you can handle them on your own?" xD I don't know, I just found this part funny for some reason.

"You're telling me that a dummy wants to kill me," she snapped and thought, It sounds like the plotline of a bad science fiction horror flick."
"Out of context, the line might be amusing. Then again, out of context, unaware of Jimmy's scientific prowess, it'd be impossible in anywhere but a bad sci fi flick. However, he had the propensity to make the impossible not only possible, but highly likely. Sometimes the result proved humorous, but other times, it was disastrous." ... That's very true.

"I'm killing that thing myself," she muttered." xD haha nice way to end the chapter.

But ohhh boy I wonder what Flippy's gonna try to do...

I wonder if it's enough to wake him...

You scared me at the beginning- I thought Flippy was ACTUALLY going to kill Cindy right then and there.

How did Jimmy get back into the real world?

Anyways, oh no this isn't looking good for Cindy... Creepy Flippy's watching her...

Oh crap. The evil Flippy has returned... and locked Jimmy in his AU world.
And the creepy dummy's "watching" Cindy...
Uh-oh.

Well, from this it seems that Flippy's still alive...

But aside from the heavy stuff in this chapter, this part made me laugh:
"And your friends are simply doing my bidding? What are they, my trained monkeys?" xD

Well... he went.

Anyways, I know I said I'd read this whole story... have NO idea why I didn't finish it back in September lol.

even though this is a dark story, it made me laugh that Sheen goes "Hey look at the big-headed kid who isn't here!"
...way to be discreet Sheen.

Awwwwww this is so sad I feel bad for Carl- he's really scared of Jimmy lol.
I mean, I also feel bad for JIMMY but y'know.

P.S. haha I know this is NOT the time for this, but I loved how you had a supernatural being tell Jim he can't prevent a death from happening... nice touch xD

I don't know what episode you're talking about- but this was really amazing and dark and made me cry a little bit.
Granted this is 8 years old but I was little then sooooo yep!

Your story was amazing! I felt my heart about to burst because of the overwhelming sadness! Truly amazing!

One of the more interesting angst stories I've read - touching and painful, but always with that sliver of hope that makes angst and drama plots worth reading. :)
