DUde. This entire story was a roller coaster ride from start to finish. At first, I cringed at the way Draco was portrayed when it came to Hermione, finding it jarring and unexpected. But then, as I went on, my view changed, and reading about Dramione from mostly Draco’s and Ed’s perspective made me feel like I was in middle school again, thirteen years old and fawning over a fictional relationship and living vicariously through it. And this chapter in particular was the icing on the cake that killed the sins I found in this story. I’m a huge sucker for trial scenes, as they tend to elicit an emotional response, and this was certainly no exception. I skimmed through Draco’s letter the first time it appeared, but the chapter tore me up nevertheless, especially with how eloquently you wrote Draco’s mute humiliation and somber acceptance and Hermione’s overwhelming tide of emotion.

This chapter was certainly a sobering, dramatic one, and I’m not complaining at all. Hermione and Ed really shone in this chapter, and even the inclusion of Rita Skeeter as a cherry on top.

I want to say more, but I’m just so swept away right now. I love this story, and I look forward to its completion.

almost had a panic attack when I saw this was the last chapter on the site! Thank goodness you'll be continuing this on ao3. I hope I'll be able to continue where this left off soon over there. Thank you very much for writing such an amazing story, I could say that this is basically THE best crossover I've encountered so far, I really love the way the half blood prince was viewed in, it really brought a new perspective into the world of Harry Potter. All of the characters were written realistically and there is not a hair out of place in this story, everyone was in character and I really cannot hope for more. Please do keep up the fantastic work!

I honestly think you’ve underleveled Ed quite a bit. He’s used to fighting opponents far bigger than himself, his whole fighting style is centered around it. Not to mention all the training he’s been through it’s incredibly unrealistic that literally everyone is one-upping him in every fight

The thought that some average joe managed to give Ed - a seasoned fighter - a black eye kind of ruined the power scaling for me to be honest. I’m hoping this was just for gags any how
