Oh my goodness, you just made my day! I remember reading this years ago, but school and such got in the way and then I started branching out to other fandoms. Imagine my surprise when this story randomly pops in my head today and I decide to search for it! Pure happiness. I remember loving this back then, though I don't remember how many chapters you had, but I definitely remember Ed studying and getting to know the professors before meeting Harry and the gang. I'm glad you're back and I'm really looking forward to future chapters! Everything looks promising!

I think I remember this story before your rewrite and really loved it. I loved the Ed and Snape interactions so I hope you keep that. But overall I love this story so please please please update it. I'm excited to see what you do with it.

Alright that explanation does make sense. Leave it to the OtP to research the best alchemists in Amestris and not twig to the fact that they both have vital roles in their country's government and can't just go undercover on a whim. They probably saw Flame and Fullmetal's respective ages and figured they were too young to be high ranked. And how did Roy know he was going to be able to return to the office three days a week? They knew they were going undercover in another country, right? Roy obviously knew something about wizard travel already, his reaction to the port key points to that too. How was Minerva expecting their luggage to be dealt with? She knows they're not from the Wizarding World, so she surely knows they don't have it shrunk in their pockets. Now I've got a mental picture of house elves packing up Mustang's house while trying to dodge Hawkeye's bullets and Armstrongs manly sparkles because they think the house is under attack by chimaeras. Really cleanly and polite chimaeras.
