Reviews for Mary, Mary
Aishuu chapter 1 . 9/22/2007
This is really charming, and I think it touches on a lot of the things I wanted to see addressed in a post-series fic. The one concrit is that your dividers seem to be missing, which makes it hard to follow when the scene changes.
Del Schiz chapter 1 . 3/28/2006
Hey, like I said before, this story is great! It's so cleverly executed and funny, while still remaining a thought-provoking and meaningful story. I love that Rio wasn't mad at Jerrica, this time around! And Mary Cherry and her drag queen friends...so priceless. My only nitpick is that some of your formatting must have gotten tossed aside by because there isn't anything to seperate the scenes. (I suggest using dashes or the hr code, if you're going to post to For some reason, the Document Manager hates asterisks!)

Anyway, this is a great finisher to the TV series. Truly a cherry on top!

Oh, that was lovely. I really wish I had such a keen pen for dialogue, as you seem to have. This is a great fill-in-the-blanks epilogue to the saga. Many kudos!

PS - That pen name of yours wouldn't happen to be inspired by the Deftones' song of the same name, would it? The music geek in me can't help but wonder.
K. A. Maples chapter 1 . 3/26/2006
This story was, to rip off one of my favorit writers, too brief a treat. It's not often I get to read a Jem fic that doesn't make me want to bash my head in.

This story was warm and witty, and it made me nostalgic for the overabundance of pink that made up my childhood when Jem was still on the air. And having Jerrica finally come into her own...

Thank you.

NepenthesMiranda chapter 1 . 3/15/2006
This was awesome. I cannot even begin to elaborate upon the many stray nuances that fleshed this story out with so much intelligence, wit, and insight-what a ride! You obviously know your Jem, her music world and ours, and tied both together with a handful of cheeky "references" that made this reviewer laugh out loud! I loved your perspective as taken from an article in 'Pops Tops!' magazine, too; that's an avenue of storytelling (using another Jem-world magazine to carry the plot) I had actually planned on incorporating into one of my Jem fics in the not-too-distant future. Yet in the end, I just want to give my congratulations. This was great... I really hope to see more of your work here in the future.
