I really enjoyed this story despite its sad beginning. I marveled how you managed to keep both Harry and Dumbledore in character... That alone is something to admire. :D Thank you so much for posting even though I strongly believed I was doomed to read an unhappy ending. I totally love this story~ I must admit that this magnifigant fic made me cry my eyes out (more like sobbing in a bunch of tissue) which made this fic one of my favorites. Any great emotional stories make me cry, is definately on my favorite list! Good work, Author-san:)

I have only started venturing into this pair today and spontaneously so for some reason. Needless to say I came across other stories that weren't particularly palatable. But I enjoyed this story a lot and can now believe that there might be other good Harry/Albus fic, at least fics in which no sexual acts occur - I would be most grateful for that. This was a good, story. Well done!

'...his godfather, barking in laughter...' Here, I think you felt compelled to drop in this distinguish trait of Sirius' and the compulsion really shows, I have to say. I think it could have been introduced a little less obtrusively so that that conformity of having to mention that distinguishing attribute of his is not palpably jarring and detracting from the story.

I also have to add that when Sirius said, "...kiddo..." that ruined it for me big time. I presume 'kiddo' hails from America but Harry Potter is based in the UK, thus it also detracts you from the story and exposes you, the authors' origin. Maybe you could replace the word with 'lad' or something...?

I thought Dumbledore's dialogue was good, not amazing but more than competent.

I have to say that being somewhat an exponent of tradition, I didn't like it when you overthrew the Killing Curse, saying that the Poision Killer was worse than it. I'm sorry, I just like reverent things to remain; I'm attracted to reverence and esteem such as the position of power of the Killing Curse and how much it's feared and all that. Then you do it again with the Cruciatus. You've invented magic that are worse than two of the Unforgivables. I think it takes away a lot of the reality and plausibility of your story.

I've never read a tragic fic where the main character dies but I didn't mind too much in this fic, lol!

Good story, write some more and keep it up!

I think I also want to write a story on these two before I read anymor stories about them (this is only the third story so far) so that they don't influence me. We'll see what happens.
