I can already tell this is going to be interesting. I must say, when I first started reading, it reminded me of the game Afraid of Monsters. An interesting choice to go with the hallucination of monsters, but I liked it.

this was a really good fanfic. i'm sad to see it end. but i liked it. this last chapter was a bit short, but i still liked it. i wouldn't have wanted you to go and make it longer, but to have killed the quality, so all is well over here.

Glad to see you finally finished it, and yes you are right, your finale did seem a bit rushed, but i can understand the need to want to finsih something, and please write more FEAR fan fics, there's still no one in this section that comes close to your level of writing or understanding of the characters.

Also i've played the expansions and although they may develop the characters a bit more, they're not really all that worth getting, i'm waiting for Project Origin honestly.

And don't worry about not playing the expansions; Extraction Point hardly has any plot and Perseus Mandate is a mere side story.

But more or less... this story was awesome. Quite possibly THE best F.E.A.R. story in the entire F.E.A.R. section so far!

That is some freaky stuff. I like how you give a nice balance between actual technical description and literary style, leaving some stuff for us to imagine for ourselves.

Very interesting point about Point Man not knowing any motherly affection (never thought about it before), and it's also nice to see another side of Alma. She actually seemed rather sweet. Quite a change from trying to blow the %$#! out of you in Interval 2.

This is an absolutely amazing story, I particularly like some of the flashbacks to Alma's like in ATC. Although I have to admit the story seems a little hard to follow from time to time, possibly your style of writing leaves things a little vague.

Still, I eagerly await the next two chapters and how this will end. Unfortunately I'm suspecting it will be another defeat Alma type ones which is somewhat of a pity but I might just be surprised.

I await the following chapters to find out.
