Hi. So, I'm not entirely sure if this is still in progress. I just wanted to say that this is awesome.

I just found this story, and it is the best Rent fanfiction ever... so sad that it's not finished, but I still loved everything about it. You are a brilliant writer and thank you for this story.

I'm suppose to be studying for finals, but I chose to read this instead. I'm happy with my choice.

I don't really know what I was expecting when I opened this fic, but as I got more and more absorbed, I can honestly say this is one of the best fanfictions I've ever read. One of the charm points of the fic is the fact that the characters have grown up- especially Roger and Mark since their views of "selling out" has changed. The little medical details that you've added are also fascinating since there's so much usefulness that comes with the interest that makes me want to keep reading.

I hope you plan to update/finish this. In the mean time, I'll be reading this a few hundred more times! Keep up the great work!

I just spent all morning reading this story, and it is so good. I just loved it, and I know it's been forever and I day since you've updated, but I really hope you keep writing it. Oh, and a little prediction on my part: Mark's dad is sick isn't he? I feel like that's what you're foreshadowing.

I stayed up rather late reading this the other night, and forgot to review in the morning, so I'm reviewing now!

One of the things that has always bugged me about RENT is the fact that Mark has a really bittersweet ending. He finished his film, but he's forced to watch all of his friends struggle around him. My mother and I went to see a community production last week, and at one point she leaned over and said, "He doesn't even have a love interest at the end? This is bull shit!"

And every story I've read post-RENT pairs him with some Mary Sue, and everyone's just so happy all the time or everyone dies...

But this might be the definitive post-RENT fic for me, I think. I love how you have Mark DOING SOMETHING. And it's completely and totally in-character. Mark would never, ever give up his film, and you've done a terrific job of showing Mark's growth as he ages and learns while still keeping him true to himself.

This story is amazing! Mark is my all time favorite character in Rent and this story is exactly what I've been wanting to read! Keep up the good work :)

Oh my god! Mark proposed to Kara! And she said yes! XD I wish she wanted a slightly bigger wedding than just city hall... it just seems more romantic, you know? Anywho, I love this story. I was just thinking about it last night, too. And then I got a notification in my email and was psyched.

Tom is so cute, giving Mark a cookie to help him out. Oh, the innocence! haha.
