Damn! This story got me all caught up. I read all the chapters in one night. I know I'm many many years late but this was one of the best stories I've read yet.

This story is so good and fucked me up so bad that I literally lay awake at night thinking about this fic and whenever I rewatch tww I keep thinking about this fic whenever I see a Toby/CJ scene. This fic is just that good, you are amazing!

As long as it actually was, which was - what; about a third of that first chapter? - is longer than I like to be looking out a first-person character's eyes... and not know whom it is.

I believe that means either "don't make us wait so long", or "try to work more obvious characterization or history into your exposition".
