wynnleaf chapter 3 . 5/13/2006
This was a great start with original plot twists and IC Snape and Harry. So is it going to continue?
Jan-AQ chapter 3 . 5/13/2006
Nice chapter. :) I wish that there were more. I like dthe explanations, but porr Harry! That Dark Mark... wow. Poor Harry. Please write more! you should post this on Potions and Snitches once you continue with more Snape and Harry bits.
Jan-AQ chapter 2 . 5/13/2006
Wow! That was freaking awesome! Wow! Snape was so incharacter, Your writing was intense an the way you handled Voldemort was skillfull.. wow. Very nicely done. I like that the Dark Lord made a mistake, I love how Harry was able to get into his mind and thoughts, and how he didn't like it or want anymore although he might be able to. Great job on all of the characters, especially Lucius and Snape in their deference of their master.
Jan-AQ chapter 1 . 5/13/2006
Wow, great writing! Everyone's really in character. Yuk about Dudley, but very realistic. Fantastic job on this chapter! princess, lol. I hope that Harry won't become a squib! There's got to be a way to reverse it or, maybe Harry's special and it won't work or it will pull down a glamour?
DebsTheSnapeFan chapter 1 . 5/13/2006
please please please update!
Bratling chapter 3 . 5/5/2006
Hm... interesting. So this is an alternate sixth year that takes HBP into account? Please tell me that you're not going with the Snape-murders-Dumbledore scenario... and please, update soon.
orphen chica chapter 3 . 4/3/2006
This is a great story. please update soon. Concerning the HG romance, whatever you think you should do, do it.
kheha chapter 3 . 3/26/2006
You should take H/G wherever you think it fits - figure out what the point of the story you're telling is, and then figure out whether H/G fits into that or not. If it ends up being a separate plot... then maybe it should be a separate story. But if it ends up being intricately woven into what you've got going on, then of course you should include more of it. How does Snape react? Suddenly Snape has a son who he's been trained to hate for being just like James, and apart from all the issues attendant with him having a son and wanting to protect that son (because I really don't think that most parents want their 16-year-old sons to have the opportunity to shag someone and get them pregnant), Ginny also looks a lot like Lily. Which (I do believe in Snape-Lily) adds a whole other wrench in the situation. So I'd guess it depends on whether you are planning to deal with the developing relationship in all its aspects mainly, and the effect that H/G has on that, or whether you have an actual plot that will take the focus of the story and to which H/G and H/G's effect on H-S will take a backseat. My 2c, anyway. :-) Do whatever feels best for the story you want to tell. Don't include anything just because you think you "should".

Hmm... Death Eater was a large black dog? That Snape had gotten rid of? Harry as living in potion-induced dream land? Or in Severus's dream land, or an alternate reality based either on Severus's desires or on Harry's worst issues, with peoples' roles reversed? Those're interesting ideas, actually - that Severus would dream about Harry being his son. Except for the Lily implications that are a bit too heavy-handed for me. Anyway, you've set me off running and thinking... :-) I wonder what you chose and why...

"Harry knew both his friends were irrational when it came to Snape" nice insight.

This chapter gets a compliment for Dumbledore-voice - really hard to write, he is, and I think you did quite a good job with it.

typo: “Why do you trust him?” Asked Harry abruptly.

Nice job!
kheha chapter 2 . 3/26/2006
Great Snape voice - "My potions never fail," indeed! The testiness and the phrasings are absolutely wonderful, right-on for what I think of as Snape.

(But would Harry really so easily think that Snape ever wanted to help him?)

Interesting application of the Dark Mark as well - I'm not sure I've seen that one before, where it's like an invisible pen. Most of the interpretations I've seen were like brandings with fire, where it all appeared at once and burned. Yours is almost similar to Umbridge's pen, which is ... intriguing, to say the least.

Ooh, and interesting way of getting Harry the beginnings of the knowledge he needs to stay in-line with sixth year canon while taking him on a wild Severitus journey as well.
kheha chapter 1 . 3/26/2006
Are you seriously 16? Because I'm finding myself as impressed as all get-out at your writing. Kudos to you, my dear - I quite look forward to seeing where you're at in another five or ten years - unstoppable, I'd say!

The opening line is very canonlike, and very descriptive, which I love... Ah, rain...

*is incredibly amused at the idea of Vernon paying someone to give attentions to Dudley, then plying him with alcohol, and ignoring his son being loud in his -ahem- maneuvers*

Quite original opening, huzzah! So very nice to see.

typos for ya: "even if he were to find it, He would be too large to fit", "“Oh?” Replied Harry", and you'll want to check, but is the curse Imperius or Imperious?

The Mighty One - can't actually be Voldemort, can it? Why would a fanfic writer introduce a new name for someone who already has 6-years worth of them in canon? Has to be someone else... But can't be Snape. Can't be Dumbledore. I can't imagine Malfoy being described as

"mighty". Hmm. You've intrigued me.
