How long has it been since your last post? Too long my friend! I've just recently rewatched the entire season of SIGN, and all I can say is that you're pretty good at matching the pacing and thought processes with each character point of view. Tsukasa's tortured and hopeful, Subaru's loving and selfless, Crim's a foil to his avatar, and Ryo is his usual pensive, analytical self... I guess, as a fan reading this, I hope you come back to this story and help nurture the romance between Ann and Mariko... Because I really like them together. Please update soon!

hey, and holy crap, I cannot believe after so many years this is the first review I've ever left for this story.

I mean, I was reading this thing years ago, probably not long after it was published (maaaaybe 2007-08) and I had an account.

Yeah, i keep coming back to read this story every couple of years, hoping that there'll be an update.

and hey, there finally was . I'm so happy.

This story, as a whole is amazing, I love how much you're expanding on the ending of sign, especially because I felt the ending was pretty lame, we didn't even get to learn anything about the people outside the characters, the last scene in the anime (excluding the OVA, I'll get to those in a minute) was Ann and Mariko seeing and running to each other...and that was a pretty crappy way to end such an awesome series.

Though a lot of anime are like that, look at Angel Beats or Haruhi...but I digress, I'm getting off-topic.

I like all of the characters introduced, they really have a lot of thought put into them, and even though they seem selfish in some chapters, it's easy to tell they all are just worried, and are doing their best.

now, as for some questions I have concerning the continuation of this story, don't worry, nothing to intrusive, I don't care when you get updates out, I'm not allowed to judge people based on their updating schedule (or lack thereof) concidering my own lack of a schedule.

Q.1 : are you planning on focusing on the events of .Hack/Unison, basically the last canon episode of Sign, and grand finale of what I say is the first chunk of .hack (next chunk as far as I know is R:2).

I'm curious because I'm wondering how exactly you'll go about it, especially with the information about kite and his friends, as well as how Ann and Mariko will go about getting the younger girl to go back into the game (I'd imagine it would be hard for her to get back onto her wavemaster, considering all the bad memories)

that's what I have, also whee, slice of life would be good, I originally found this story and enjoyed it because of the drama, but I think 15 chapters is plenty enough, it would be nice to see the cast begin to shape up, and get out of this melancholy they've been under, plus Ann needs to start healing.

Please try to update sometime this year, but don't push yourself with it, I'll be happy seeing an update whenever it's out, and I'm sure I'll be back to check it out at some point, like I said this story comes to mind every so often.

I also think you were part of what kept me on this site when I was first starting, and my stuff was especially bad, cause I envied all of the big name-writers for their success, and wanted to be like them.

thus I've pushed on over the last 6 years, and my writing has improved in leaps and bounds from there.

so thank you...thank you very much for being such a great writer.

dude this story is great i have read a few stories with unique writing styles but this is the first type that i've put this story at my top 5 favorite. it's very good and i'm looking forward to your other works

Definitely good stuff. You're tackling the characters with a level of complexity and depth that makes it an enjoyable read for those who like to see the characters having some kind of life outside of the World.

Been waiting for an update for a while, but it was worth it, and it's just inspiration to get back to my projects.
