THough at this point I have doubts that you will be posting more chapters I want to give you props for how well your version of the "side character" thoughts fits in so well with the origional story. Very well written with lots of personality!

Well! Keep writing! I'm enjoying this because I LOVE Raoul SO much so this makes me happy! The part about Raoul looking in on the tent and seeing Kel and Cleon, that part made me laugh. Poor Kel, she has no idea. It did seem weird though to me, that Alanna was FURIOUS about not being able to talk to Kel, but then in her thoughts she didn't seem to make much of it except "I wish I could see Raoul more". That's all I've got, just keep updating! I am waiting! ;)

Please write more! This is very well written, and stays true to the characters. RAOUL AND BURI ALL THE WAY!

I just found this story and I really like it. I enjoy the fact that your story is in line with Tamora Pierce's, it just has extra insights. My only comment is that when writing dinner partner "dinner" has two n's. Can't wait for the next chapter!

I've just added this story to my favourites, and now my guilty conscience is bugging me to review. How Kel can stand listening HER nagging conscience, I don't know. Mine is pretty well trained as it is.

But back to the story. This fanfic is the closest I've seen to the book 'Squire', and I'm a sucker for the storyline.

The characters are as believable as they come. I've read so many fanfics where the tough girl starts acting mushy or the bad boy suddenly becomes a goody-two-shoes, and this is definitely NOT one of them. Many thanks to you, this story has earned its place as a fanfic worth reading.

I'm also really interested in how you will plan all this out, since you will be following the book. Word of caution: don't make the fluff unbelievable. I'm pretty sure Raoul won't start spouting pick-up lines and Buri will start giggling like a 12-yr-old. At least, I hope so. There ARE warriors, after all.
