This is most epic. And also very sweet, despite the young couple's arguments. I wish Asuka had more time with Tabris.

I don't like this couple, but I've loved this trilogy. It's a real masterpiece, one of the best EVA fics ever written.

Truly. It is a marvelous addition to the TvTropes Fanfiction archives. The praise lauded upon your story is well-deserved. Of course it was a bit lighter take on Evangelion then I've been used to but wonderful none the less. 'Changing Seasons' , 'The Legionnaire", 'Cloud Nine', 'Flavor of Love', 'Hot Rain' and now your fic are the best S/H pairings hands down. I would advise you to look them up if you ever have free time. Mister Cyncial will have you cracking up with his one-liners and solider humor. DigiFruit has proven their self to be able to fight with the big boys when it comes to make outstanding oneshots. I've been with gunman since the beginning and 'Hot Rain' was during his beginning when he was in his prime. JErosin's 'Changing Seasons' is definitely a staple of S/H and I would have been surprised if you haven't read it. But I digress. A read that I have no regrets spending my time on and would love if you uploaded more on so I can follow you :p

I read all three 'books' somewhere else before finding it back on FF. Pity that book 3 didn't make it here.

This trilogy is probably the longest complete SxH fic, and by story standard it is also one of the highest (even among other kind of fics). To simply say it, what the author did was essentially tweak the original story line from early on so that Hikari plays a central role without getting OOC.

I must say I can't help but liking book 2 most. Both books 1 and 3 are awesome pieces but they somehow serve as (rather long?) prologues and epilogues. The development of book 2 is the essential of the story, and deviates from the original anime the most. Readers having knowledge of the original anime at respective times would find this fic's storyline creative, original, as well as making perfect sense. Two thumbs up!
