This was such a great story! I had a good time reading it!

Wow just read this chapter for the first time. This is the reason I come to fanfiction. You got to wade through a lot and a lot and a lot of crap and troll stories with the most minimal of effort. But then once a year or so you bump into a story where the writer clearly has talent, passion for the story they're writing about, and by the 9 chapter timeline I can tell the writer didn't drag it out into some 70 chapter slugfest that lost its original charm that the writer just abandons after a year anyway.

Spider Girl was pretty much one of the only comic series I ever got into besides Spider Man and bumping into your story Dissonance after so many years of not thinking about that amazingly told 100 issue arc by Tom DeFalco with as much skill as you've written just takes me back to my childhood. It's like picking up a Spider Girl issue 10 years ago for the first time when I was reading your Chapter 1 and stories like this remind me of how amazing reading can be. I know this is years old and you likely won't even see this review, but thanks for writing this as I'm going to have a lot of fun tearing into this story for the nostalgia factor alone.

Her phone call with J2 while being pursued was excellent and the kind of classic Spider Girl tropes we know and love. The dialogue was very true to May and I apprciate the references to New Warriors and Golden Goblin. Very excited to see how this plays out. Well done.

I like this. I have to admit that I haven't read as much Spider-Man and Spider-Girl, although I *do* own the manga-style graphic novels of Spider-Girl 1-7 or 8, as well as owning the individual comic books up to 100 and #0 for Amazing Spider-Girl, but I haven't read them.

I also have *some* of the Spider-Man comic books and Graphic Novels. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's interesting to read this story and not have all of the information that you're mentioning since I haven't read as far into the Marvel Universe as you have.

Great story! I thoroughly enjoyed it. It only makes me wish there were more stories featuring Mayday.

I loved this! It was amazingly like a comic book that book novel form! Perfect blend of two different comic series but also a great touch of heart. I think people breeze past Peters relationship with his daughter, not taking the time to fully examine it. I think you perfectly captured a younger Peter Parker as well as the spirit of Mayday. The story was bittersweet and very captivating. Thanks for writing it!

This is the kind of fics I love the most; you had an idea, you did the idea, and you moved on, beatiful in its simplicity.

May I just say: that was one of the best fan fictions I have ever read! As many reviewers already mentioned, it truly felt that I was reading right out of a comic book! Stan Lee is awesome, but he better watch out for writers like yourself! (that IS a compliment to you and NOT a flame to Stan Lee!).

I truly enjoyed the father-daughter sentiment and the magical mystery of it all. I myself am a Spidey fan all the way, so I've really only known HIS story and love triangles and such. Plus, different dimensions usually give me a headache due to all the mixed emotions I have over the characters' varying story lines. Despite that, in your story this was not the case. Also, since I am not accustomed to the different Marvel dimensions: Which dimension was Earth 616 (I believe this to be the "normal" dimension in most Marvel stories like the original Amazing Spiderman, Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, ect. ect.) in this story? Thank you again for taking the time to write this! Keep writing!
