This was such a sweet little story. I can picture young Albedo watching Rubedo sleep, and I can also picture him getting jealous whenever Sakura creeps into Rubedo’s dreams. However, I was glad to see the “Sakura jealousy” was kept to a minimum in this story, and further emphasizes Albedo’s general “hurt” of everyone gradually distancing themselves from him. Nigredo’s little inclusion was cute, too: providing a sliver of comfort Albedo needed. Both he and Nigredo are undergoing similar, sympathetic pain. The story is well written and pulled a couple of heartstrings in me (I went “aaw” a few times during this fic, hehe). So all in all, I enjoyed reading this.

I thought I may as well review this one – I read it a while ago, and hell, it's beautiful. Heart-wrenching and very, very inspiring. I even started to write a similar fic about young Rubedo and Albedo, but then I stopped, remembering this story and realizing I was one step short of committing plagiarism. *sigh* It's just that you have managed to create a very good piece... perfect, as far as emotions and characterization are concerned. I loved the angst, the cuteness, Nigredo's final punch line. And I think I'll never get this paragraph out of my head: "The sleeping body beside him mumbled something incomprehensible and kicked out a leg. Albedo flinched back before it could touch him. If Rubedo found him in his bed again, he'd kick him out. His brother didn't like him sleeping with him anymore – we’re too old for that, he'd say, or, Nigredo isn’t trying to climb in here every five seconds. Why don’t you go cuddle with him?" It's so IC that I'm almost hyperventilating here. (Hey, I'm getting way too emotional over a simple story! XD)

There's really nothing I can criticize. Excellent job. Keep writing, you do have at least one fan.
