booksandwaffles chapter 1 . 5/5/2018
This was incredible! It really made me cry, this was so goooood!
marmaroth chapter 1 . 12/31/2010
I was so relieved when Percy finally returned to the family in the seventh book, I almost cried. You captured Molly's personality wonderfully.
smiles chapter 1 . 3/2/2009
i don't like writing to authors, they should know their own worth and not depend on the praise of others. critics and detractors are louder and more numerous than fans, shouting v/s speaking... but this story really made me want to write to you. i've never seen molly's perspective, but now i've come closer to understanding. thank you.
just a lurker chapter 1 . 3/13/2007
I randomly found this story, and I just wanted to tell you that is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Heartwrenching, yes, but in a lovely well written way. I really enjoyed reading this.
Mamacita-san chapter 1 . 12/21/2006
oh, REALLY-i MUST stop reading your stories at work. this will never do. tears are streaming down my face and i'm fairly sure even though it is the thursday before christmas and hardly anyone is walking through the office, SOMEone is liable to notice if i do this all day.

poor molly! you've done an excellent job of showing her strength. one wishes her character were real; i would love to be a part of her world, she is such a great person.
FalseReflections chapter 1 . 12/20/2006
Again, another brilliant peice of work. I really like your style of writing!
Laureen Lycan chapter 1 . 10/17/2006
Poor Molly...

This was perfect.
fahzzyquill chapter 1 . 8/17/2006
so sad. i kept having to tell myself not to cry. this was so good. sad but really more bittersweet. what an amzing look into the mind of molly weasley.
Crookshanks22 chapter 1 . 6/14/2006
This is heartbreakingly lovely. The passage about Fleur is particularly poignant, and the timing does help to explain Molly's hostile reaction to Fleur.
PotionPolice chapter 1 . 6/12/2006
Tears! Thank you so much! You truly write beautifully.
duj chapter 1 . 5/21/2006
If she'd been paying attention to her kids she'd have known why Percy left and why his siblings won't. It's because they - not to put too fine a point on it - consistently acted as if they hated him. Not necessarily Charlie and Bill - we never saw them together with Perce so we can't tell - but the other four. Go back through canon and remind yourself how they treated him.

The twin's teasing extended to trying to lock him into a pyramid when they were on holiday, to sabotaging his work at home and making his employment miserable with pranks like dragon dung in his inbox aging for the five days that he was out of the office. Ron was hardly able to say his name without attaching a rude word; a typical example (of many) is in CoS when he replied to Percy's fretting over Ginny that it was just pretence to help him get Head Boy. Ginny took the family line on all that, rejecting Percy's concern and laughing as the twins tormented him.

The last straw was when his parents turned against him too. Instead of complimenting him on a deserved promotion (because what boss wouldn't want a hard-working, efficient, loyal, conscientious employee like him? And how could he have been expected to know Crouch was acting strange when he didn't get to see him like that? Barty said that when his dad started fighting the Imperio he was forced to stay home and merely send in instructions...), his dad started yelling that the only reason the Ministry wanted him was so he'd spy on his family. And his mum agreed.

Percy was always the odd one out, but he loved his family. You see it in CoS as he continually frets about Ginny from as early as October (when he made her take Pepperup because she seemed unwell) and in GoF when he runs into the water to help pull Ron out after the second task, uncaring about dignity or image or wet robes. Maybe they loved him too - but find me ONE example in canon where they ever showed it.
Padfoot Reincarnated chapter 1 . 3/26/2006
Oh, this is so beautiful. It really made me cry. I hope that it doesn't really end like that...I don't know if I could handle it. Beautiful.
Kwala chapter 1 . 3/16/2006
teardrop
unlikely2 chapter 1 . 2/17/2006
Depth and dimension. Beautifully written.

FYI: 'She never understand that it had little to do with her or Bill,' I wondered whether that should be understands or understood and it threw me off a bit. (Would that be amazing ability to lose stuff?)
k8ebug chapter 1 . 2/15/2006
This was powerful! I liked that you used the present tense. All of your descriptions seemed very real and your explanations so true to the series. Thanks for writing! I look forward to your next pieces.
