I'm glad Jonathan died even though I didn't like Clana because John Kent was supose to die. He died in most version of media so It was time for him to die

Great Story! Because i'm Clois fan and i didn't like Lana resurrection.

Ding dong, the witch is dead! God I hate Lana. I was cheering so hard in the episode when I saw her all bloody in the road. And then they brought her back... damn writers.

Anyway, excellent story. I think the Clark/Chloe/Lois dynamic was great, and that although Lois was still Lois, you gave her some human feelings. Superb!

you killed Lana... woohoo! If only the writers of the show had had that much initaive a few seasons back Smallvilel might not have become 'The Lana Lang Show.' Still in their defense i think the superman mythology says she's supposed to live... and maybe marry Pete or summit.

In Reckoning, I first felt bad for Clark because Lana died (even though I don't like her). Then the show got ruined by bringing her back and having Jonathan die instead. How could they? I am not a Lana fan because she is so snotty to Clark. Too bad she couldn't have just stayed dead. It was depressing when she didn't.

Okay, I just have to say that this was beautiful! I was so angry when I saw this episode. It was so close... we could have been rid of her forever. But, no. Clark had to be stupid and tell Jor-el to change it. This was really realistic, I think. I could definitely see the episode proceeding like this. Thanks for writing it!

That was so, so, so awesome. Very touching too. It should've happened that way in the show, things woulda been better off. I mean, yes, Jonathan was bound to hit the bucket, but -

[Weeps] . . . I miss Jonathan. But that aside, I really did like your story and how you handled the Chloe/Clark/Lois moment there, nicely done. Though I have to point out that the part where Jor-El says [“I understand your anguish, but there is really nothing I can do. And think about it, Kal-el. Would you rather someone else you love take her place? Perhaps either your adoptive mother or father?”

Clark paused at that. As much as he hated to admit it, Jor-el did have a point. He loved Lana with all his heart, but…“I just wish it could have been different.”] That to me, felt maybe just a little too, I dunno. . . . forced or something. I'm not sure how to describe it, other than weird, but other than that I enjoyed the story very much, easpically the ending. Good Job! - Sakura123

I totally agree with you that Lana should have died... but I think they are trying to follow the superman plot. In the original, Lana ended up marrying one of clarks friends, and they still knew eachother in Metropolis.

Hey, great story! I love the fact that Lois is the one that convinces Clark to take that one little step to get back on his feet again. I totally agree with you guys! Lana should have died a horrible gruesome again death for being so damn annoying! They ruined the only good part of the episode when they brought her back! Anyways, great writing and I can't wait to read more from you.

Heh, I would've enjoyed this more if it were an unrealistic Lana bashing but it was alright. Update. I really did want Lana to die in Reckoning, but the writers took my hopes and squashed it with their feet. Guess this is the next best thing.
