I'm not particularly fond of complete AUs, especially fantasy since it's very hard to repaint the world anew. But since this is *you*, an author I've read from a lot before, I'll give it a chance. Though I find that I like your introspective stories better than this one.

On the other hand, I love the whole idea and history of things (well as much as you've let us in on). I find myself debating on whether or not to laugh at the names you've given the cities though. :) Wishing you the best!
