This is probably the best IkexSoren fic I've read on . And OMG, it has a plot...!

Plot is such a rare thing on FF, most fic's just don't seem to have any direction whatsoever, it's a shame. -_-

Ohh~~! How can you just stop here? Please do continue this story! The story about Soren's mother and father was very amusing. You are a really good story-teller, and I hope that you haven't decided to stop writing this. This is a piece of genius.

OMG! I story about Soren and Kurthnaga! *squees* I was already hooked by this story in the first two chapters, but it just gets better. I had been looking for a story about Kurthnaga meeting Soren. *runs off to read and adds to favs*

The interaction between Volke and Soren was also incredibly well-done. This is the first PoR fanfiction I've ever read that feels like a continuation of the original story, building on to the world we've come to love. I feel like I've uncovered a rare gem.

This is probably the best Ike/Soren story I have read yet. I have only read two chapters, but I can see already the great potential in this story. Your portrayal of Ike and Soren are very believable, and the fact that Soren would keep such a well-documented journal is probably the most believable aspect of his personality that you chose to represent. You've definitely shed some insight on Soren's feelings regarding Greil's death.

In Path of Radiance, during the movie scene showing the meeting in Goldoa between the Laguz Royals, I noticed that Kurthnaga had red eyes, dark hair, and a symbol on his fore-head, very much like Soren. This led to my own belief that Soren might be descended from dragons.

The new fire emblem, Akatsuki no Megami (Goddess of Dawn) has a lot of new things on Soren.

-Rumors & Spoilers-(These have not been verified)-

1. There is a character named Amrita, who is the daughter of the Black Dragon King, Older Sister of Kurthnaga, & Wife of Ashnard (King of Daien).

2. Amrita is Soren's mother. Therefore Soren is the true heir/prince of Daien and a descendant of a Goldoan Royal (Which means Kurthnaga really was his Uncle!)

I remembered when my gut hurt from excitement from stumbling upon your fic the first time before even reading it. When I did read it I enjoyed every bit that I swear my gut was gonna burst! I found that the characters are wonderfully in character and I loved how they interacted with each other. It has an interesting plot which makes it unique from the mainstream of "Soren Angst (Attempts)" out there. You kept me entertained with your original characters too and your fic made my belief of Soren's laguz blood even more plausible. Yes, I too noticed the very subtle hints throughout the game. It had been so long since I've first read your fic and since I never did give you a review...beter late than never.

I'm excited for the new Fire Emblem 10 and one of the main reasons why is that there's more for fans of Ike and Soren. I bet we're all up for more details into Soren's past and his ongoing relationship with Ike.

Anyways, you're an awesome writer! Keep up the good work!

... I think I'm in love with this story. (Of course, it does help that I'm in love with Soren and the Ike/Soren pairing.) I think you keep Soren in character very well while he's still confronted to things he doesn't how to react to. He's confused, angry, but still himself (and still adorable). And Kurthnaga's such a sweetie ; I really loved the hug scene.

(And the braid part was too cute .)

And Volke was awesome, and Boyd is funny, I especially like his immediate reaction to Ike's declaration — "like, whoa — stop. Love ?".

Ike is... special ; he's always so serious in the game, but in here he's so insecure, afraid of what happened to Soren and all. The part where he searches in Soren's room, specifically the journal part, when he suddenly closes, almost made me squeal out loud. I usually don't really like when a character reads another's journal (too cliché, and a promise of biig complications), but this was really sweet. Just letting Ike see what's deep inside Soren, thought he had a good idea already.

Aand, of course, the plot is a good reason why I love this fic as well. There are some fics about Soren's past, but I've never seen any where he's -confronted- to it. This fic is pure love _ *adds to fav stories and story alert lists*

I really enjoyed reading this (twice!)- the characters are totally right. Have to do more!
