Kenshin's actions were completely IC; it was his dialogue that was a bit of a problem, that roguish tone.

And actually, I thought Tsubame was perfectly IC, except for maybe when she was yelling about men and maps; it was Sanosuke who seemed a little OOC to me.

Kenshin's vanity, though amusing, seems a bit OOC; the manga does not give the impression that he cares about his looks.

Interesting reason for Kenshin to not teach Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryuu.

And it's funny that Kenshin's escape messed up Kaoru's plans to run away as well.

Haha, that's just like Kaoru, eyeing things of sentimental value for how much they're worth in gold.

I apologize for having not read in so long; I got busy with school and my own writing and stuff. I do like this story a lot, though.

Lol, I liked Hiko's theories on what Kenshin's excuse for being late would be this time.

Man, that was a really, really good end to the chapter.

I think a once-a-week updating schedule is perfect, though I know from personal experience how hard that can be to stick to during the school year.

I liked the appearances Katsu and Yahiko made in this chapter.

Man, I've only read the prologue and first chapter, but I love this fic already.

This is actually very good. I couldn't find anything to criticize. I like the setup, and my favorite part was when Hiko and Kenshin were arguing. They sounded just like they do in the manga. :)

I'm kinda worried about what you might have done to Tomoe in this fic... (wince) Ah well, I'll find out when I get to that part.

I think that you are going a little too fast with the K/K stuff. In the animae they are in love and perfect for each other but it wasn't instantanious. I know I can't change what you already wrote but you should have some scenes where Kaoru is acting like well Kaoru when Kenshin gets on her nerves. That's just my opinion, I don't know much about the seris because SOMEONE keeps forgetting to bring them for me. (Hint, hint)
