Zanahoriabaila chapter 1 . 11/7/2019 OMG, this was so cute! So soft and subtle and then BAM! Sasuke is the one bein self-aware and pushing. Oh, and that stillness of doom moment that yeah, is Sasuke processing, but also feels like he's contemplating fucking massacre, because "what they did to me" and also the low self-steem that he has to obliterate first and oh, so many good feels. |

FollowThisRhythm chapter 1 . 4/28/2013 This is wonderful. The idea – the theme – of this piece is lovely in itself, but even more, your execution of it’s so moving; your writing (for the most part) keen but dreamlike, astral like that drifting place between being awake and asleep, until somewhere around the last part where it began to read with a bit more … clarity? Like breaking through water, if that makes sense. But I loved it, which is the point, and I think the choppiness used throughout – the grasping thoughts and broken lines – helped to convey what (I’m assuming) you intended to with a certain vulnerability and rawness that couldn’t have been reached through any string of words. That aside, I loved Naruto and Sasuke in here too. I could feel them, in their personalities and in their interactions, even though (canonically, at least) we’ve never seen them like this. The tenderness and the intimacy of what they share – even before they're aware that they're sharing it, and even before they've consciously opened their selves up to sharing it, specifically on Sasuke's part – is palpable, and genuinely believable, and it's made this so warm. :) Anyway, I don't want to babble my way into incoherency (although I fear I'm already bordering on that, if I haven't already managed it) so I'll stop! Thank you, though, for writing and sharing this. It's truly a satisfying read, and it's only solidified why I find myself loving these two so much. x |
Mahayana chapter 1 . 4/12/2013 That was... beautiful to read. I don't even have the words to say just how much I liked it. The part where Naruto, in response to Sasuke not wanting to say what he dreams of, tells Sasuke of his own dreams of being invisible. It was... very touching. What a lovely character piece. Thank you for writing it. It was a pleasure to read. |
