| Diary chapter 1 . 9/21/2007 I enjoyed this. In my opinion, if the series had continued, Zim and Dib would have eventually developed something deeper. They were both little boys, both misfits, and neither really had a clue what life actually entailed. Zim didn't really grasp what enslaving and killing meant, and Dib, for all his genunine belief that he was saving the world, didn't ever really grasp the fact that he was saving actual people. They also believed they truly loathed one another, when really, they liked to loath one another. They liked challenging one another and occasionally helping the other. In my opinion, both would have denied their attraction until they had to grudging accept it. Even then, they'd never become a couple, even if they did occassionally do things. I thought this pretty much captured all of that. Sorry if I rambled too much; I try my best to explain to people why I like things, but it sometimes comes out wrong or too annoying. |
