Love this whole story and the development that anzu went through

I'm going to agree with everyone else: that was really cute! It seemed very in-character as well. In the manga I got the impression that while they were friends, Yuugi and Anzu didn't actually hang out that often until the Puzzle came along, so it makes sense she would have other (girl) friends that she genuinely likes.

Such a believable way as to how Anzu and Yuugi became friends... I love how you portray Yuugi. Not as a wimp, like he's portrayed so many other times, but as a human with a very large and open heart. This will be reread, I assure you.

Oh, I liked this a lot. I don't read a lot of fic centering on Anzu, so I haven't really thought about her too much, but this was really great. I enjoyed seeing her struggle to figure out what to do and who to be friends with, and I liked the view of Yuugi through her eyes. It was very interesting and plausible. Great job!

Brilliant characterisation, it's so lovely and so rare to see such a well-written fic that takes into account the complexities of school life and the difficulty of negotiating playground politics. Great stuff- I adored Yuugi's reaction at the end...*squeak*
