I've put off giving a review of this, but I should do so.

It's not my favorite piece of yours, maybe because I don't like Wilfrid Owen and because I was always warned off one-sentence pargaraphs. It takes a while to sort the characters and the narrative line out, too. It's well worth taking the time to do so, though, because this is still a very powerful piece. You can suggest more stuff about character, situation, and background in a sentence than I can manage in a page's worth of exposition and dialogue. With this and other pieces, you really add some depth and weight to the Hellsing backstory. Simply as writing, this is still far above the usual fan fiction level.
