That twist! You totally got me on that one, though looking back I can see the signs. The build up was totally in the background of everything else you had going on with Ryan. I love that you allowed one final, warming interaction between Ryan and Sandy, having Ryan know that he was there for him. As with most (all) of your stories, I would have loved to see more of this even though it ended beautifully. That's just me being selfish! As always, thank you for the amazing story!

Wow. Just...wow. I've read a lot of Ryan/Cohen family angst but that's the first time I teared up. That was honestly one of the best fics I've ever read and if I had an account, I would Favorite it.

Well, it was very murky that Sandy was dead. Maybe I just missed the transition? I mean I got it at the end, but it was never clear in the hospital, to me anyway. But great read!

Wow, this was wonderful. Great plot twist- you paced it just right so that when Sandy died, we'd kind of forgotten that he was hurt, too. You covered a lot, with many characters, in a very short space. And the language in this story is just beautiful- wonderful use of figurative language. Awesome job.

So, so sad, and wonderfully written. Your style is unique and compelling. I was not expecting the twist. And yes, I now have tears in my eyes, thank you very much. My favourite line: ‘Oh Shit’ and ‘Oh Fuck’ have gotten married and their child, ‘Ohfuckingshit’ is running pell-mell across his brain, clanging a pan with a spoon.

Oh, wow. This is actually the first story in the world that has made me cry. Like, very first. I don't think I've ever cried before for a story -I'm a tin man-, but I loved this. It was amazingly written, the last paragraph was the one that cracked me. Awsome flow and stuffs, you really know how to write :P

I love reading stories like this, but it sucks that Sandy died :(
