| Kung-fu Blaziken chapter 2 . 2/18/2011 "BEWARE MY SKILLS!" Funny. I have to hand it to you, I really do. 'Almost Got Him' is one of my favorite episode of 'Batman: The Animated Series' You've transitioned it very well to this story, and created 'almost got him' stories of your own. Very well done. I especially liked Danny pounding the snot out of Walker, the Box Ghost telling a story similar to Killer Croc's, Technus' stupidity, and Danny revealing himself and winning the card game. High praise all around! |
| Maetch chapter 1 . 10/19/2010 This was always a fun B:TAS episode, seeing all the Gotham Rogues just shooting the breeze over a game of cards. All your scenarios are well-planned and well-resolved in true DP form. The only thing missing from the original was the part where, after crashing the poker game, Batman fights Harley Quinn prior to rescuing Catwoman. Spectra would've been a perfect fit for the Harley role, and the ending would felt more like a big finale. |
