Hunty is right on all points. I will also add that there seem to be some canon violations which might prove problematic if you wish to continue this story.

A cliffhanger implies a major break in the action. So far, there is no action. And the segues tend to both destroy continuity and prevents the reader from suspending disbelief. Suspense of disbelief is what allows a reader to lose him/herself in the story.

But trust me. I've seen hideously worse. If you want help, I will do what I can.

o_O Not to sound mean, but the story has very little plot. There's too much talk and not much of what's going on in the story.

I'd rewrite it.
